The 19th Annual Haltech World Cup Finals – Import vs. Domestic battle will take place at Maryland International Raceway on November 7-9, 2014. The event hosts Import vs. Domestic Drag Racing, A Custom Car Show, IBT Bikini Contest, A Huge Vendor Midway, and a Live DJ! The event is busting at the seams with over 25,000 fans in attendance, and over 500 racers from 10 different countries! There is no other event like it on the planet!
The event draws racers from all over the world competing for over $60,000 in ten different classes of competition: Mickey Thompson Tires “Outlaw vs Extreme”, ATI Performance Products “Radial vs Modified”, Precision Turbo & Engine “X275 vs Hot Rod”, JPC Racing “Street Fighter”, Real Street Performance “Super Street”, Driveshaft Shop “True Street”, ERL Performance “All Motor”, USA Auto Supply “10.00 Index”, Racepak “10.50 Index”, and UPR Products “11.50 Index”. The event brings you side by side racing action from just about every type of genre in drag racing featuring the top cars from just about every sanctioning body in the country! Forget the trash talking, it’s time to prove that these drivers has got what it takes, with each side putting their reputation and egos on the line!
The pit area also features a Custom Car Show sponsored by Gary Best Kustumz on Sunday with $1,000 in cash prizes and 75 Trophies awarded. This show features 200 of the most beautiful cruisers, classics, hot rods, tuners, low riders, and exotics you can imagine. All Car Show entries for 2014 must pre-register at www.importvsdomestic.com and the Car Show is limited to 200 cars.
The International Bikini Team kicks off the Bikini Contest presented by Victory Precision Machine on Sunday and is always a crowd favorite at WCF! Also, be sure to check over 1500′ of vendors on the vendor midway where you’ll find performance parts, accessories, and apparel at great prices!
THURSDAY SCHEDULE: Gates are open from 9am-9pm. Racer Parking is from 9am-9pm. The Early Bird Test Session is from 12noon-6pm. Tech inspection will be open from 6pm-9pm. Gates will close at 9pm.
FRIDAY SCHEDULE: Gates are open from 8am-8pm. Racer Parking is from 8am-8pm. Qualifier #1 for Index classes is at 10am. Qualifier #1 for Heads-Up classes is at 12noon. Qualifier #2 for Heads-Up classes is at 3pm. Qualifier #2 for Index classes is at 6pm. Gates will close at 8pm.
SATURDAY SCHEDULE: Gates are open from 8am-8pm. Racer Parking is from 8am-8pm. Qualifier #3 for Index classes is at 10am. Qualifier #3 for Heads-Up classes is at 12noon. Qualifier #4 for Heads-Up classes is at 3pm. Round #1 for Index classes is at 6pm. Gates will close at 8pm.
SUNDAY SCHEDULE: Gates are open from 8am-8pm. Car Show Parking is from 8am-11am. Round #2 for Index classes is at 9am, and eliminations will resume throughout the day. Round #1 for Heads-Up classes is at 10am, and eliminations will resume throughout the day. Car Show Judging is from 10am-2pm. Live DJ is from 11am-4pm. Bikini Contest is at 3pm. Car Show Awards is at 4pm. With the new schedule changes the event is expected to be completed between 6pm-7pm on Sunday.
1-Day Adult Admission is $25, 2-Day Adult Admission is $40, and 3-Day Adult Admission is $55. Kids 6-11 are just $5 per day. General spectator parking is free and pit side parking is $10. Entry fee for Heads-Up classes is $100, and $75 for Index classes.
