Veteran Sport Compact Racers John Brown and Jose Bermudez create the National Sport Compact Racing Association (NSCRA) to give Sport Compact enthusiasts and fans events to come together and share their love for performance automobiles.
The NSCRA was constructed as a new approach to the concept of Sport Compact drag racing. NSCRA rules help racers focus on their
passion of racing while delivering the highest quality showcase of Sport Compact performance for fans.
All events feature a variety of street car race classes, over twenty car show classes, Caribbean food court, music and entertainment for fans of all ages. This combination of activities ensures a fun experience to those both on and off the track. Raceway AMA/Prostar Streetbike Shootout November 9-11, 2007 Gainesville Fl.
Purpose: To find the fastest and quickest streetbikes in the world. Average ET in the mid sevens, average speed around 190mph, that’s extremely insane. It all looks easy when you seat with the crowd in the bleachers, but going fast on one of these bikes is not. Easily said than done, when you are wrestling a 450hp beast. Driving one of these iron ponies as fast as you can requires special skills; first you got to keep that back tire from smoking, and once it gets on the groove you got to keep the front end from kicking you out, remember can’t be saved by the wheelie bar, it’s gotta be street-legal. The Streetbike Shootout was created by the AMA/Prostar in the mid '90s as an alternative to the boooring! old style Pro Mod and Pro Stock racing classes. The classes are: Top Fuel, Funny bike, Pro-Modified, Pro Stock and Pro Street, remember that the participants in any Pro Class must be a Prostar and AMA Member. Motorsports Chamo Vs Rosado SAT April 7 If this is a sample of April 22, Be ready for a surprise. The much anticipated match between Chamo Race one of the fastest Mazda RX7's of Florida Vs. Rosado Racing the fastest pistons of Florida is not over yet. After the 1st. Chamo Pass of 4.85 @ 148 mph made him a clear winner them came Rosado on his 2nd Pass and made 4.982 @ 151 mph winning the second round. Motorsports Curian Vs Chamo On 03/23/07 the match for the title of the Fastest Rotary Mazda RX7 of Central Florida. Curian Racing Vs Chamo Race two of the fastest rotaries engines, Curian the old time favorite and Chamo the new contender. On the first pass Chamo won with a 5.04 @143mph 1/8 of a mile, and he sealed his victory with 4.90 @149mph on the 2nd pass. His personal best is 7.72 at Morosos's 1/4 mile.
